Sunday 10th Feb finally arrived for our 3rd annual CRTB Show & Shine. It was an early start for some of us who arrived to set up the tents & mark out the parking. As the cars started to arrive it was well worth it. With the help of Ross’s Prodigy, Ross & Arthur’s 2 project cars & Debbie & Jordan’s race Corvette we reached a total of 100 Corvettes on the Reserve; not bad for a 1 make car. But then we realise that Vettes are Best.
We had several cars from Victoria, Queensland & a fully prepped race C7, left hook &                    road-registered car from Tasmania. We also had Terry & Linda from Texas spend the day with us.
The club thanks all participants that made the effort to come and show their cars. The weather gods smiled on us again.
Our club charity Heart Kids were there to raise awareness for their cause.
There were 6 trophies to be awarded. The entrants voted for 3 trophies & the public voted for 3 trophies. Only pre-registered entrants were eligible for judging.
 The winners were:-
Public Choice                    1st           Sergio Giacomelli             1961 convertible
 2nd          A J Martin                       1954 convertible
 3rd           Spiro                               1963 split window
Entrants Choice                  1st           Mick Turner                     2007 Z06 convertible
 2nd          Alan Norsworthy              1968 convertible
 3rd           Steve Umney                   2006 Z06 coupe
We wish to thank the Band “Rave On” who kept us entertained throughout the day with their music & all who helped in the Merchandise tents, parking of cars, gate entry duties, erecting tents, putting up banners & most important those who helped to pack up. Everyone’s effort was much appreciated. Now all we have to do is look forwards to 2020.
Once again, thanks to everyone! From the CRTB committee
PS check out the photos as Kevin voted the show number 1 again
