Round one of the club Christmas festivities commenced December 1st at the McConnell house hold at Lyndoch. A big thank you to Karen and Rob for hosting the dinner under their spacious veranda. Things livened up with the arrival of the special bus driven by Jim with the southerners on board. Around 60 club members gathered for a traditional styled Christmas dinner catered by the Country Kitchen at Angaston and yes there was gravy Catherine!. Peter and Lynda helped decorate and set the tables along with a few surprises under the chairs and tables, there were prizes galore. They drew the club Mega raffle for the $500 SA holiday with Daryl Drummond taking away the prize amid cries of redraw as he wasn’t there to accept. There was plenty to eat and just enough Christmas cheer to go around. The boys even did the dishes.
